THE DRUNKEN NIGHT.

Landon and I began hanging out together.

We weren’t dating, just being good friends with each other.

I told him of my dream, how much I loved music, and nearly abandoned it because of Noah.

Landon just nodded and promised to help me out in my music career.

He put me through into the music industry and how it goes.

Since I had no connections, sometimes he would practice and teach me more about how to sing in his studio and other times with his friends.

He would take me to places that I’d never been to before and we became the best of friends.

He was calm and observant.

I was always talkative, and he listened attentively to me without a word, and gave me a couple of pieces of advice.

I then went to his places all the time to relax.

He became my friend and sometimes when I go over to his place.

We will have breakfast, lunch and dinner together.

He cooks really well and listens attentively to me.

No matter how much I vent a lot, he never complains or interrupts me.

He always listens to me.

Ask a few questions and keep quiet.

He was the best man ever and then when we have nothing to talk about; he reads a book and while I sleep on the couch next to him and read with him laying my head on his lap.

It was fun and his friends came over to practice or something most of the time.

“Are you into acting?’

“Not really, more like in a band and a music producer.” He replied. “I do both, actually.”

Which one was the answer?

“Oh, really.” I said and sat down beside him while he was reading a magazine about celebrities.

Why is he so interested in celebrities?

“Yeah.” He muttered.

“Do you live alone?’ I had to ask, because since I’ve been seeing him for weeks now, he seems to be the only one living here.

He nodded. Probably doesn’t want to get deep in this conversation, so I let it go and we’ve been that way for a couple of minutes now.

Silence.

He suddenly questioned. “Why did you abandon your dream of being a musician?’

I sighed. “I abandoned it because of my adoptive parents.’ I answered with a shrug. “They loathed the career and said it was not good enough for me. I had to accept it since I was planning on a great future with Noah, whom my parents loved so much and said I was going to be a proper wife for him after I was done schooling and getting a proper job. We will then get married, so, why not give it up? Maybe it’s just a waste of time.’

“Wow, what a nice family planning,” he said.

“Yeah, so because of that, I had to give it up and concentrate on other things. I wanted to please them and not disappoint them because they were there for me when times were hard. They pulled me out of the dark when everyone abandoned me, so I gave up on my dreams to please everyone.”

“You sacrificed what you truly wanted to please everyone because you didn’t want to come out as an ungrateful person. That’s pretty hilarious. It doesn’t sound like a loving family to me, more like slavery,’ he mocked. This was really the first time he voiced his opinions on what I discussed with him. On a normal day, he wouldn’t say a word to me but only gave a nod.

“Yeah, I know.’ I admitted. “Seeing you and the others has made me change my mind and realize I have to do what I love because my life is much more important than anyone else.’

“So, you don’t give a damn anymore because you got dumped?’ he calmly asked.

“Exactly, I just realized my dream and I want to focus on that now. I don’t want to tell my parents yet, but I have to and that would be when I’m most comfortable to let them know at the right time.’ I explained, and he only nodded and went back to his magazines.

Meeting Landon has been one of the best days of my life and has also made me concede to so many things. Seeing how he was controlling those friends of his while they were all practicing as the leader made me want to follow my dream.

He turned to me and questioned. “Want to eat something?’

“Yeah.” I cheerfully answered, and he got up to go check on the food he was cooking on his gas.

I got up and stared at his muscular back. The sight of his toned body and prominent veins left a stunning impression..

Is this living room hot or is it just me?

He stirred what he was cooking in the pot, and the aroma was paradise.

When he was done cooking, he only gave me my food.

“Don’t you want to eat?’

He disagreed. “I’m not in the mood to consume anything. Just focus on your food.’ He replied and after a while, we chatted for hours and we both drank a lot of alcohol and got drunk.

He got up and carried me to his bed, laid me down and carefully covered me with his bed sheets.

He was about to walk away when I held his hand, rubbing it.

I wanted him. I've been having sexual fantasies about him for weeks. Why was my body so hot and ready to receive him? Was it the alcohol or what?

He turned to me. “What! You wanna drink some more?”

I shook my head.

“Then, what is it?" he calmly asked.

“Sleep with me.” I whispered seductively, and licked his hand.

“I’m a man. I can’t sleep beside you,” he said.

“Fuck me, that’s what I meant.’ I explained.

He looked at me for a few seconds and sighed.

“Go to bed, you are heavily drunk, idiot,” he uttered.

'You've had some perverted thoughts about me, right?’ I laughed. “Why don’t you fulfill your dream, Landon?’

“Not really. I think the alcohol is taking over my system.” He admitted.

“Oh, but I don’t want you to only sleep with me, Landon. I want to have sex with you.” I sheepishly asked him and got up to him and began taking off my clothes. “I want to be touched.” I moaned. “It’s been so long and…”

He then kissed me so passionately and wrapped his hands around me, then pulled away from me. “I’m not in love with you. It's best to make that clear.” He uttered.

“I know.” I whispered.

“Whatever we are going to do now should be done and forgotten the next morning like it never happened, do you understand?’

“Yes, I understand.”

“I’m not the type to love, Larisa.” He whispered.

“I know, Landon.” I smiled and kissed him once more, and he slowly took off my clothes and kissed my shoulders. We both fell to the bed and kissed like cats and mice fighting with each other.

He was so good, his warm mouth was warm and beautiful. I have never kissed someone like this before.

He took off my bra, flung it across the bed, unzipped his trouser and went to his drawer to bring out a condom.

“Don’t use a condom.” I quickly stopped him.

“Why?’ He questioned with his brows raised and put a strand of his hair behind his ear.

“I want to feel your dick, Landon.”

“I’m sure you don’t plan to get pregnant while still in high school, Larisa, because I’m not a good father. Neither am I prepared to father a child and take responsibility for it.”

“But you are fucking a schooler. What do you expect?’ I laughed. “Of course I would want it to be so good.’

I could see him snickering, but I knew what I wanted and understood what he was trying to avoid.

“Don’t worry, I got pills in my bag.” I convinced him.

“Aren’t you going to mind the fact that I might have some diseases?” He laughed.

“No, I trust you, and I know you are clean.”

“How the hell did you know that?”

“By wanting to go get some condoms, maybe.”
