Hearing Karla scream had been the last thing I expected when I walked into the house. Lucien had nagged me out of my room and forced me all the way over to sign some documents which I did sluggishly and just as I was about to leave, I heard her.

Without thinking, I rushed towards her room and when I saw her on the ground, my eyes widened. Before I could rush towards her, she stood up from the ground and wrapped her arms around me so tightly like I was her only source of hope.

“He's here, you can't let him take me. I'm begging you" She muttered and I tightened my arms around her as she shook with fear before turning to Sebastian.

“Check out the window, Sebastian" Sebastian nodded then walked towards the window and glanced down. We all knew there was no chance in hell that Jason was in the vicinity but just to Calm Karla down, I asked him to check.

“There's no one there" She immediately raised her head and shook it frantically while staring up at me.
