Chapter Thirty One: Hospital

Everything looks familiar. She'd been here before. The own penetrable darkness that'

surrounded her was a strong giveaway, but unlike last time she wasn't filled with the calmness she saw desperately wanted. There was rising panic going through her body.

Violet sat up from where she lay to look around and the water that surrounded her body rippled away.

More darkness.

She wanted to leave but had no idea where to or why. She opened her mouth to call for help but only a warm gust of breath left.

"Come to us… save us."

Like words being chorused by a hundred men and women, the words shook Violet, demanding her attention. It was loud and hoarse.

Violet whipped her head around searching for the source, but was utterly confused when all she could see was darkness full stop. The voice filled her with a sense of familiarity yet she did not know what it was, or why it addressed her in such words.
