CHAPTER SEVEN.

Ella

The days sped by faster than I wanted them to. As I sat on my bed one morning, after having one of my most dreaded nightmares, I massaged my temple.

Leaning on the headboard, and gazing out through the window, I sighed. The day had dawned bright and beautiful indeed.

'Wolfie, do you think a race this morning would do?' I questioned, clambering off the bed.

'You promised Lila to accompany her shopping, remember?' My wolf protested.

'She'd understand. My head feels like a mess.' I sighed, shuddering as snippets of the nightmare flashed through my mind. It wasn't the first. Ever since I was younger, after losing my mother, I always had nightmares about her.

It didn't help that my father was a complete drunk. A drunkard Alpha, rare.
