When Lila came to me mentioning that something was eating her up and she wanted to discuss with me, a part of me hoped it would have nothing to do with me and her father, Vincenzo.

' hear her out first, there is a worry in her eyes that has nothing to do with you.'

Mia admonished.

I sat still as she started to walk further into the room, towards me where I was seated on the bed.

"There is no one else that I can talk about this with. I have not had much sleep for two days now since we returned back to the pack."

She said. Truly, there were bags under her eyes and i chided myself mentally for not seeing it until she had had to mention it. But I sighed, quickly forgiving myself before she came closer.

"You know I will always be here to hear you out."

I said with calm assurance. She nodded.

I took another deep sigh, hoping the conversation was not going to have come down to Vincenzo or about me. Since we returned, I had not seen him or been in the same room as him and that was not
