The Unexpected

River and McKenzie decided that a stir fry would be good enough for dinner. They put all the left overs in a pan and add some noddle’s, onion, garlic and pepper to it and let it simmer. While they go up to change. “Have you heard anything from the guard watching Bingo?” River asks “he has gone to the coast. Just staying in his hotel room” McKenzie tells her.

“He could be just waiting it out or be giving instructions via phone calls” River guesses, then looks at her stomach as it rumbles. The food can now be smelt, up in their room. “It should be ready soon” McKenzie says putting his arms around her and placing his large hands over her little bump.

“You have to promise me, you won’t do anything that will put you or our child at risk! I can’t lose you River” he tells her kissing her neck and breathing deeply as he tries to calm himself. “You too” she says turning in his arms and hugging him.
