Bring It On!

McKenzie holds his sleeping mate. Really not wanting to leave her. But if he is leave here without being caught, he must. He kisses her head and goes to move his arms from around her. River wakes up, turns and looks at him sleepily.

“Sorry love, I really need to go” he apologises. “Thank you, for staying with me. It is going to be a long day. I’ll leave our link open. I think it’s best if we don’t actually, see each other until after its all over. I hope it’ll be all over” River says. He kisses her and then gets up out the bed. “Go back to sleep love, it’s still early” he tells her.

She watches him, pull on his clothes and then he comes and kisses her again before leaving. She tries to go back off to sleep again. She hugs McKenzie’s pillow to her face and breaths in his scent.
