Proud

IT was already dark when Logan and I traveled home. That is because the nuns didn't send us home right away, they had prepared a special dinner for all, and they also didn't agree that we wouldn't host them.

"A-are you angry?" I was the first to break the silence between me and Logan inside the car.

He is very quiet while driving. I can feel him change since we left the orphanage. He turned slightly towards me and immediately returned his attention to the road.

"I'm sorry if they insist on the dinner. I'm sorry if they tempt us." I continued to speak even though I wasn't sure if he was listening to me or not.

"It's okay," he answered simply then there was a long silence between us again.

We arrived at the house and he didn't pay attention to me again. He got out of the car first without even looking at me.

I sighed while looking at his track.

I know that it's my fault, I kept a secret from him so this is how he treats me now. I was about to open the car when he opened it for me.
