“Pinky promise?” She said, holding out her pinky to me. “What?” I asked. “Pinky promise me that her fate will not become mine.” She said.

Humans are so strange, how does a pinky promise make her feel better? Whatever. I thought. “Ok. I pinky promise that her fate will not become yours.” I said, and we locked pinkies.

Her heartbeat immediately started to calm down now, as if that little motion really did secure the deal. Humans were so strange with their ways.

“Do you feel better now?” I asked. “I do, thank you. Didn’t we have to talk to another brother of yours now?” She asked.

“Ah, yes, Raphael. I’m going to mind link him first to let him know we are coming.” Then I mind linked my brother. “Raphael!” I said. “Rowen, are you sick? You never mind link me.” He replied.

“Oh come on, I do too… Ok, maybe I don’t. But I have a dilemma and I need your help.” I said. He sighed out loud. Come on over, I'm home.” He said, then he closed the link.
