I woke up to Ambrosia moving around in my arms. She popped her head up off my shoulder. “Good morning!” She sang. I just blinked a couple of times. I wasn't even awake yet, how was she this perky already?

“Morning, doll.” I grumbled, trying to sit up and wipe the sleep from my eyes. She was already up and bounding around the room. She seemed to be in the best mood ever.

“Oh, I'm taking full credit for her good mood. I definitely did that.” I said to Viper with a snicker. “Yes you fuckin did, ha.” Viper replied.

I watched as she ran off into her room to change before heading downstairs for whatever reason. I was still sitting on the side of the bed grumbling to myself.

Normally I’m good to wake up easily, but today I was not having it.
