I HEARD YOUR CONSCIENCE

Leora subconsciously brushed off Elmer's hand that clasped her hand tightly.

"What are you doing, Sir?" asked Leora in surprise. Elmer was silent without answering a word. He shook his head. Elmer looked back at the paper in front of him. Read it quickly and put it back in front of Leora.

"This is a summary of an elementary school children!" said Elmer curtly.

"You should have minimum three references," he continued. Leora just kept quiet while stared intently at the paper infront of  her.

"Make it again!" said Elmer with a cold look. Leora raised her head and looked at Elmer with a restrained upset.

"Tomorrow you will make a presentation for it," Elmer continued softly. His chest suddenly rumbled when he saw Leora's clear eyeball gaze.

"What's wrong with this girl?" asked Elmer silently.

"I have this feeling  about a hundred and eighties years ago," Elmer said in his heart.

"You can go," Elmer said finally without looking at Leora. The beautiful girl rushed away from Elmer's presence.

Leora quickly ran towards the elevator. But she has to wait until the elevator went down to the floor where she was waiting for it. The elevator is open now. Leora turns her head to the right and left before she finally stepped her foot into the elevator.

Leora immediately pressed the elevator button to close the door. But not even the elevator door closed completely, a pale finger seemed to hold the elevator door so as not to close.

Elmer got into the elevator and immediately pressed the door button back to close. Leora was naturally surprised to see Elmer's arrival suddenly.

"Isn't there no one out there yet?" asked Leora silently as she looked at Elmer in surprise.

Elmer feel again the warmth spread quickly in his chest. Leora then stands behind Elmer while hoping that the elevator door would open soon. As soon as the elevator door opened, Leora immediately came out and half ran away from the campus courtyard accompanied by the mysterious gaze of the fierce lecturer.

The next day, Leora again ran quickly towards the elevator while occasionally glancing at the watch that was coiled at her left wrist.

"Ten minutes before the clock came in. Hopefully the lecturer is still in his room," she said as she hurried to press the elevator door closing button. The atmosphere still feels crowded because many classes have not started lessons yet. The students were seen walking towards their respective classes. Leora darted over running towards the lecturer's room to immediately hand over her task.

"Thanks God, he's still there," Leora murmured softly when he saw the fierce lecturer still sitting quietly in his place. While spreading a smile and greeting just to the other lecturers, Leora then arrived in front of Elmer.

"This is my task, Sir," Leora said as she handed over her file. Elmer just glanced at the task file in front of him.

"Present it," he said as he sank back with the book he read.

"Huh?!" exclaimed Leora puzzledly.

"I mean, sir?" he asked again.

"Make a presentation in front of the class," Elmer replied expressionlessly.

"Really a presentation, Sir?" asked Leora still incredulously. Elmer stopped his reading, he glanced at his left wrist. A very old antique watch was stared at by him.

"Five more minutes my class will be begin. Get ready," Elmer replied as he looked at Leora whose lips had suddenly gone five centimetres ahead.

"SRINGG!"

A warm soft swish ran across Elmer's chest. His hands subconsciously held the chest that was throbbing so deeply. His eyes looked at his palms.

"Blushing, like there is a real life in my body," Elmer's mind frets.

"No. It must be just my feeling of being too upset with that girl," he muttered softly as he stand up and walked away from his room.

Meanwhile, Leora, who was upset by Elmer's instruction, immediately rushed to her class. She glanced at the watch and smiled faintly.

"There is no way I will come late again. The lecturer is behind me," she murmured with a grinning smile. With a leisurely step she opened the elevator door. Leora slowly walked towards her class. But his eye beads suddenly enlarged when she saw that the figure that she did not expect to have been in front of there.

"Is that really him?" he asked softly when he saw Elmer, the fierce lecturer figure, entering the door of his classroom.

"Thank God the Fierce Lecturer is facing there," Leora said as she slipped into the classroom.

"It's not starting to be absent yet, right, Ru?" asked Leora to Ruby who could only look at her while shaking her head.

"Good!" exclaimed Leora happily. But her forehead frowned when she saw the ray of tension on ruby's face.  With a gesture through her chin, Ruby tried to tell Ixora that someone was standing right behind her.

"You're late again, Miss," Elmer said as Ixora turned her over. "B-but, how could you have been here?" asked Leora in astonishment.

"Because I never walk in daydreaming," Elmer replied firmly as he told Leora to go to the front of the class.

"Presentation your task now!" There was a voice in Leora's ears. She looked at Elmer irritably.

"Hurry up!"  Leora widened her eyes when she returned like she heard Elmer's voice shouting loudly. She looked at his friends. Also Ruby. But none of them were bothered by Elmer's screams.

"Am I hallucinating?" asked Leora silently.

"No! You are not hallucinating. Hurry up for the presentation!" replied Elmer who sounded firmly in Leora's ears.

"E-eh, yes, sir," Leora said as she stand up and walked to the front of the class. No one doubts Leora's ability when it comes to presentation. In a short time, Leora managed to tell the legendary figure that she wrote the story of life about and what he has given in this economic world.

"This kind of presentation is very easy for me," Leora said silently with a triumphant smile.

"Don't be arrogant!" said Elmer with a sharp look.

"You know eh," shocked Leora when she heard the voice of the lecturer.

"Didn't I speak in my heart? Why is he so excited?" she asked confusedly.

"Ah, why can I hear what he said silently?" asked Elmer, who was also quite confused by what happened. But Elmer was as cold as ever. Pretend nothing happened. Leora just looked at him in confusion.

Until the class ended, all the students immediately left the class.  Except Leora.

"Come on, Leora!" asked Ruby as she stood up from her seat.  Leora just shook her head.  Ruby looked at Leora in surprise.

"What do you want to do?" asked Ruby.  His clear blue eyes bead looked at her best friend questioningly.

"You don't have any more problems with that killer lecturer, right?" asked Ruby again in a whispered voice.  Leora shrugged her shoulders.

"I have something to ask him. You go home first, Ru," Leora replied as she got up from her seat. Ruby nodded and hurried to leave her.

"Does he feel the same thing with me?" asked Leora silently. Her feet stepped closer to the place where Elmer stood.

"What's the same feeling?" asked Elmer suddenly.

"Yy-you. How could it be possible to hear?”  Leora stammered without answering Elmer's question.  Elmer smiled faintly.  It's so thin, but it can hypnotize Leora’s eyes that never seen a smile on the lips of the handsome man in front of her even only once.
