His stare

Jake turned around and looked back at me, "What do you think?" As I was a bit nervous so I looked down. He came near me, "Why did I saved you?" Then I again looked up at him. As he was standing close to me, so my voice came out as more than a whisper, "I don't know".

Then he smirked while looking at me. His next action made me shocked. He held my hand and pulled me towards his hard, muscular chest. Then he said while looking into my eyes, "Because I like you". My eyes widened hearing his confession. He was intensely looking into my eyes. Then suddenly he moved his face near my ear and whispered, "Just kidding". As I heard it, I pushed him. And I felt a bit anger, as he was playing with me. Then I saw that his lips twitched upward into a smirk, which made me more angry so I looked in a different direction. Then he said, "I saved you because I had to". I asked him, "What do you mean?" He said, "I meant that, Ananya left, as she had some emergency in her house, while Karan accompanied her and asked Sophie and Neha to take you home. But as Neha and Sophie got drunk, so I asked Vihaan to take Neha and Tina to take Sophie". My eyes widened when I heard that Tina took Sophie home.

"And as everyone left, so there was none to take you home. So I came looking for you. I saw your bracelet's stones. And when I followed it, I found you here and saw these men's were trying to molest you. And that's why I had to save you".

I nod my head in understanding and said, "Once again thanks for saving me". He said, "You're welcome". After saying he started to walk and I followed him. I murmured to myself, "So this arrogant jerk did know how to respond back, after someone says thank you". He stopped and turned back. I too stopped and looked up at him. Then he asked while raising his one brow at me, "Did you said something?" I nodded my head negatively. Then he again turned to front and began to walk, while I followed him.

After walking for a few minutes, we reached his car. He opened the car door for me like a gentleman and I went inside. Then he came and took the driving seat. He is really intriguing. Sometimes he behaves like a gentleman and sometimes like a jerk.

In the whole ride we didn't uttered a word to each other. He was focused in his driving. While I was looking out of the window. In between he asked me for my address and I gave him the address and we were back to silent.

When the car jolted I realised that I reached home. I looked at him and saw that he was staring at me while holding the wheel. His stare sometimes makes me nervous. "Thank you for dropping me home", I said. He nodded without removing his gaze from me. I thought again this guy is back to his jerk form. I opened the door and went out.

Then I came near his window and wished him, "Bye and Good night. See you tomorrow". He again nodded and said, "Good night". Then I started to walk towards my home. I rang the bell and then looked back and saw that he didn't left. And again my eyes met with his. He was again staring at me intensely, which made me shiver a bit.

Then the door of my house opened and I looked back. It was mom, "Dia, finally you are home. It's late come inside". "Yes mumma", I again looked back and saw that he was still looking at me. I felt weird. Then I sighed and went inside my home.
