Cole didn’t do it.

Cole was running late to see Saha at the Ramsey house and was driving fast to get there. He had phoned Sasha to let her know he was on his way but she didn’t pick up. That wasn’t unusual though when she was babysitting as she could be busy with Cleo or cleaning up.

Cole finally arrived about 20 minutes late and approached the door. He didn’t want to wake Cleo up by ringing the doorbell so instead he reached up above the door and took the spare key that was hidden and let himself in. He has done this many times in the past so it wasn’t a big deal he thought. He never expected to walk himself into trouble.

Cole walked into the living room but didn’t see Sasha anywhere. He softly called her name and tiptoed to Cleo’s room to see if Sasha was there.

Cole saw Cleo fast asleep and turned around to head back and look for Sasha. It wasn’t like her not to have greeted him already. Cole was starting to worry when he saw the light on in the kitchen. Sasha must be in there and didn’t hear me he thought to himself. Cole walked into the kitchen calling Sasha’s name when he stopped cold as he saw her on the floor. Cole rushed over to her and shook, Sasha are you ok.

It wasn’t until he rolled Sasha over that he saw her head at an impossible angle. Cole started crying as he tried to call the police but his hands were shaking so bad he dropped the phone. The operator called out Hello hello is anyone there but all she heard was crying.

The operator traced the call and sent police to the address. The police arrived and entered the residence with weapons drawn. When they walked into the kitchen they saw Cole crying over Sasha’s dead body. The officers immediately reacted and placed cuffs on Cole assuming he was the culprit. Cole realized how it must look and started screaming, Hey I didn’t do it. I just got her and found her like this. The officers didn’t believe him and arrested him on the spot. They were sure he was guilty of killing Sasha and also Mandy as they bath died the same way.

Mr. and Mrs. Ramsey were called home and were in a state of shock when they were told what was found. They couldn’t believe that Sasha had been killed in there home and they couldn’t believe that Cole was guilty. No one could.

The police contacted Mr. and Mrs. Williams to tell them about Sasha. Officer Reynolds was not looking forward to having this same conversation again but he took comfort in being able to tell the parents they had arrested the guilty party.

Mr. and Mrs. Williams were distraught and Mrs. Williams had to be sedated to calm her down. Mr. Williams refused to believe Cole did this. Officer Reynolds explained he had been found at the scene crying but admitted they didn’t see him commit the crime.

Meanwhile at the police station Coles parents had already obtained a lawyer and after hours of questioning the department had no choice but to let Cole go. He would never confess to something he didn’t do and remained adamant he found Sasha that way.

The officer informed Cole’s parents not to let Cole leave town as he was a suspect and they were determined to find proof that he was guilty. Cole was so upset over Sasha’s death and being blamed for it that he went home and refused to leave his room. He spent his days and nights in a daze. Cole refused to eat and couldn’t sleep at all. Every time he closed his eyes he would see Sasha with her head bent the wrong way. He would wake up screaming and drenched in sweat. His parents were worried and didn’t know what to do but at least they could watch over him.

He was still laying in his room a month later when Amanda Davis was found with a broken neck.

The following month Becky Gonzalez was discovered, and the next month Hailey Pope was killed. All with broken necks, all while babysitting and all with out a single clue.

5 girls in 5 months all in Huntersville. Stacy didn’t know she had been picked as number 6.
