Chapter 9

Kellan had a busy day, attending to some issues of the pack. By the time he was done, it was evening already and he retired to his room for some rest.

However, his wolf was restless and wouldn't let him think straight.

As Kellan sat down in his room to eat, the persistent wolf hardly let him concentrate.

"We need to find her. You've been too non-challant." Ragnor grumbled.

"I have bene trying. Rick and the others have been searching for her. What am I supposed to do?" Kellan answered tiredly, sharing his thoughts.

"You shouldn't rely solely on others to find our mates. You should be making an effort as well. We need to find her sooner."

Kellan sighed and wagged his head, gulping some wine afterward.

"I never asked her to leave." He mumbled, a small frown finding its way to his face. "Perhaps, she's not even interested in me. If she was, she'd have never left that morning."
