The war became so hectic that everyone almost lost it, bleeding profusely, even though the people we were up against were indeed worthy opponents. We fought to our last breaths.

I stood in front of the witch while I grabbed her by the throat.

The witch, whose powers had been exhausted, didn't say a word.

I shut my eyes instantly as I couldn't stand just how hideous she looked.
