Chapter one hundred and twenty two

Kathy's breath caught in her throat as she observed Dominic's strikingly enlarged facial features, deep-set eyes, long eyelashes, and captivating jade-like complexion.

"Don't stop breathing," Dominic whispered, sensing her momentary halt in breathing as he briefly paused their kiss.

Gasping for air unconsciously, Kathy felt the tightness in her chest subsides somewhat.

Dominic chuckled, releasing Kathy from his embrace and sitting upright in the driver's seat as though nothing had happened just moments ago.

"I didn't expect you, Dominic, to be so shameless. First, you left me in the car to meet your former lover, and now you're here flirting with me. What's your game?" Kathy asked with a tinge of disappointment and pity, touching her lips that Dominic had just kissed, between her thumb and forefinger.

Dominic helplessly massaged his forehead and observed the traffic light at the intersection shift to yellow once more, swiftly retrieving something he had concealed in the back seat.
