Chapter One hundred and forty five

"Where did I disrespect you?" Kathy stood up in fear, leaving her seat and turning her chair towards Carissa, bowing and gesturing for her to sit down.

This put Carissa in a difficult position. Earlier, when the younger generation was talking, no one had heard what was said clearly, and Kathy's expression was normal. Furthermore, Kathy's companions, Dominic, Estela, and Maricela, did not make any special welcoming gestures upon Carissa's arrival, so Kathy could not be accused of being impolite to her.
