Chapter one hundred and twenty nine

Kathy's face flushed slightly as she exclaimed, "What?" She swiftly unbuckled her seatbelt, alighted from the car, and bid a quick farewell to Wilson, trying to brush off the awkward moment.

As they strolled along, Wilson couldn't help but chuckle to himself. He felt a twinge of pity, observing the couple ahead of him who were openly displaying their affection.

"Kathy, brace yourself for what lies ahead," Dominic suddenly cautioned.

Perplexed, Kathy asked, "Why?"

"Our residence is quite old and in a state of disrepair. Please bear with us," Dominic apologized sincerely.

Kathy burst into laughter unexpectedly. "Is that so? You describe your house as old and run-down. When I was in the United States, I visited Prince Hillary's castle. I believe your house is twice the size of his castle and even more exquisitely designed. It must have been crafted by a renowned artist, right?"
