Rain pack was the way we left it.

Mark and Garnett did a good job, and Luis seemed to have eased in when he returned.

The people were happy to see us and confessed that no one had dared to attack them since the last attack.

We had sent a strong message with that last attack, so I knew it would be unwise for Irvin to send more of his people to die.

While Christopher handled the military and engineering section, I dealt with the shelter with the help of Aida.

As much as I hated working with her, I had to let it be.

Seeing that Apate tried to use my pain to make me cross over made me force myself to get along with Aida.

She knew how to handle Luna matters, so I had to allow her to help me put the shelter together.

There was a lot of awkwardness between us, but we tried to make it work.

After one week, the shelters were finally in the best shape, and we asked the rest of the civilians living above ground to move there.

Silly silly Alphas.....how can they possibly think that Apate will live with them all as they are? I am glad that they held out with the bullets because I think Apate might have swayed one or two of the Alphas
