Chapter 10: Arguments

The next morning Amber’s mother is waiting for her as she leaves her room for her run. “I need to talk to you” she says “you know how important my morning run is, its also an early start for me today. So, it will have to wait until tonight” Amber tells her.

“Can't you leave your run for one day?” her mother asks “mum is this about Grant?” Amber asks “yes, yes, it is” she replies “then no, I’m not willing to miss my run, I will come home after work and listen to whatever you have to say” Amber tells her before grabbing her water bottle and heading out the door.

She turns up her music and runs to the beat, trying not to think about anything other than what she has to do that day. Her mother is in her room when she gets back. Amber gets a quick shower and grabs a banana and calls bye to her mother before leaving.
