Chapter 13: I Love You

Amber really does feel that Grant does like her, for herself. But there is still this doubt she has, that there is something more. She has asked Grant to give her some time to sort out her feelings, but she already knows she likes him a lot. What she really needs is time to figure out if she is going to be living in her sister’s shadow?

The trip back to the city was a quiet one, as they each thought about their own things. Last night though, Grant sent a text wishing her a goodnight. She dreamt of Grant again only this time they were married and living happily with two children of their own. It had left her feeling all warm and tender when she woke-up.

Now she is back at work trying to finalise her work schedule with Alice. In order for her to be away for a few days with Mr. Lacey’s stores fronts. She is due to leave later today and will be away for three days. Once she is finished with her assistant she then sighs and picks up her office phone. She calls her mother “now you
