Twenty Seven

Isabella ripped that one page from her diary. This was her only moment. She was finally going to confess. She willed herself out of the room. There was no time like the present.

If she was going to fail to tell him her heart’s desire, then she was simply going to hand him that piece of paper. In her paper she said,

‘I have never known happiness. I have never seen the sun’s bright rays of light. Even at the night, my heart has never been moved by the moonlight and the stars. To me they were nothing but rocks, burning millions of miles away. But then in my deepest darkest moment, I met you.

In my lonely moments, I saw you. You have filled my heart with love, like a thief you have stolen my heart and hid it in a place only you can find.

Don’t you now consider yourself to be selfish? How can you understand this feeling if I do not yet exist in your lonely world?
