Chapter 64

Estelle POV

The double doors opened as a loud trumpet sound rang out in the enormous hall. Everyone faced the aisle in their red and black attire. The singer’s voice covered the room as they sang a beautiful, high-pitched melody. I breathe out, looking at everyone through my veil. Today was the crowning ceremony and wedding. Auntie wanted it traditionally because, when she was born, there were not many things as mates, so people got married to their chosen soul mates. I breathed out as the royal maids took their first step.

There were two maids in front of me and two behind me, and as practiced, we walked down the aisle, following the rhythm of the beautiful opera singers. Everyone stared at me in awe; honestly, I would stare. With all the preparations, the only thing I wasn’t included in was this gown; aunt did everything herself. She didn’t show me or tell me the colour. I was curious, but it was worth it. The gown is simple yet very elegant.
