Estelle POV

I breathe out while standing in front of the mirror. It’s been a month, and it’s been very busy. Sending invitations, cleaning the palace, and preparing the ball. Aurelian aunt made sure I was in each of the processes, choosing colours, food tasting, decorations, the theme of the after party, everything I was included. She didn’t give me a break; I slept late and woke up early, and the dancing practice and clothes testing were exhausting. Even Aurelian couldn’t stop her. She said she is preparing me for the future, and I can’t be weak or whine, so I swallowed everything. Tomorrow is the day I will be crowned and officially married to Aurelian, and as I looked at myself in the mirror, I looked exhausted.

“Aunt really wore you out,” Aurelian said, standing behind me. I breathed out, adjusting my wild hair.

“It’s fine, Aurelian; it’s my duty,” I said, totally brainwashed. He turned me around, looking at me worriedly.
