Two years later, news arrived that my father came running to share with me. He showed me a picture in the newspaper of a young woman with a scar that went from her mouth to her ear and Marcos beside her. The news said that they had separated. And that was not all. He sent that newspaper and a note showing regret and asking his father to take him back. I did not believe for a minute that regret, I distrusted Marcos, because he never mentioned how he knew our address and this to me was a sign that something in that story was false.
