The Story of Lucifer and Bael

His voice impales my ears like a hammer hitting a nail. I sit at the tree not saying a word, my heart races as I wonder where he came from. I attempt to peek around the tree but am unable to see anyone standing there. The woods behind me were dark, littered with eyes peering over bushes and behind other trees. The wind was cold as it brushes against my beat-up body. All I can think of is getting far away from anywhere near here. I can't see the man but I know he's standing there, waiting for me to answer. The time seemingly slowed down as I sat there wondering if the man is even there or if this is my imagination. Of course, I want to leave here, but if there is one thing I learned, don't trust anyone or anything. Especially here, wherever here is. The woods behind me fell silent, with no animals making a sound, and the wind seemed to fall dead as I sit here contemplating what to do next. Should I answer him? Maybe he will go away if I ignore him. I try my best to regain my composure,
