The Mind Game

I lay there breathing rapidly as if my heart were about to jump out of my chest. The shade stands above me, waving its claws in front of her face. I feel the air around me getting thinner, almost as though I was smothered. I can feel pressure in my stomach as I lie there afraid of the shadow in front of me. I can feel the pressure begin to shift towards my throat, which makes it hard to get air. Something's going on in my mouth. I open my mouth when I see a finger coming out forcefully by striking a tooth from the mouth. I open my mouth wider when the fingers emerge from my mouth like a spider. I'm terrified, I start to scream a stifled scream. My eyes were wide, my anxiety through the roof. The shadow stood above me laughing, making fun of me while he waved to me.

“Now, just relax”, he takes a clean swipe across my face with his claws. I can see my blood spilling over his long nail when he licks the blood. “More, I want more!”
