The Hallway to Nowhere

I struggle to get away from the hands grasping at me. My body feels numb and cold. I scream as I try to force my way out of reach. I can feel the nails from the hands gliding across my body, digging into me as if they were trying to pull me down.

“Get away from me!” I yell out, swinging my arms frantically.

I can hear a menacing laugh all around me. My body is full of fear as the hands bring me to my knees. I start to hear knocking in 3’s, indistinct whispers, and snarling from a dog in the distance. The hands dig deeper into my skin as I get pulled onto my stomach, I can feel myself getting dragged across the floor.

“Help! Someone help me, please!” I yell louder hoping someone can hear me, hoping someone would save me.

My voice starts to crack, I can feel my voice get lower as I start to lose it. The strain in my throat from yelling irritates and stings with pain.

“No one can save you”. The voice whispers into my ear.
