Chapter 2

The bad dream I had was really scary and thankful that was just a dream, I was holding my head and my body was in pain. I slowly got up from lying down and fixed the strands of my hair on my face until I rubbed my eyes a few more times. I just covered my mouth and couldn't believe what I was seeing.

"W-where am I?" I looked around, I was inside a luxurious room. It is almost as big as sister Tessa's entire house.

"You're awake." I looked for the person who spoke but I didn't see anyone, I was immediately alarmed but my forehead was wrinkled when I looked down at the bottom of the bed.

"Waahhhh!!!!" I immediately stood up and jumped on the bed, my screams didn't stop, a small creature was on top of the bed while I fell on the bedroom floor.

“Elf! Wahhh-hmmp!!” It snapped its fingers and jumped onto the bed effortlessly.

It flicked its finger again, it was now in front of me, my eyes widened as it reached me until it stopped on my stomach. I almost squinted because of how small it is, am I still dreaming? I might choose to wake up in the small room or whatever I prefer to wake up.

"You are not dreaming young lady." It smiled.

“H-hmmp!!!” I couldn't speak, my mouth just closed on purpose, he scratched his head and then snapped his fingers again.

"I'm sorry I forgot your mouth, because you make noise." He said in a small voice.

"Where am I? Who are you? Will you kill me-I'm not tasty! I'm ahead of you. I might make your stomach feel sick-“

"I don't eat people, you're that big, how do you think I'm going to eat you?" Yeah right?

"If I had planned to kill you, I would have done it while you were asleep." The elf response again.

He got off me and then walked towards the table next to the bed. He motioned me to sit on the bed so I got up and went back to the bed again.

"O-oh! What is that? Why do you have to climb on my shoulder-“

"You're too scared, I'm just a little elf but you're so scared. I was just looking over your shoulder."

"My shoulder? What's wrong-“ I couldn't finish what I was going to say when I remembered what happened last night. Immediately I looked at my shoulder, it didn't have any bite marks or anything. Could it be just a dream?

"My colleagues found you unconscious in front of the door and your shoulder was bleeding."

“B-but how…what door? Don't tell me this is the old house??”

He nodded and smiled widely at me.

After looking over my shoulder, he got down and left the room. I followed the elf, my eyes almost salivating when I saw various creatures here. There are nymphs that fly, elves like my companion, there are others that I don't know what is it.

"Here we are.." I followed the elf, he headed to the end of the hallway and opened both doors.

"Son of a…" I can't say anything sensible about what I see. The whole area was full of people. But how can there be people-wait, I'm also a person, right? Come on! Am i dead?

"You're not dead, and it's obvious from your face. The reactions of the people who landed here are also the same.” So I'm not really the only person here?

"Follow me." We passed through the crowd of people.. I'm not sure if the others are human because their eyes are strange. And speaking of eyes, the eyes I saw last night were so scary that my heart almost stopped beating there.

"Looks like there's something new."

"Who is she e taking care of.?"

"Tsk…another trespasser."

"Grrrrr..."

I walked quickly to see how far I was from the elf I was with.

"Wait, where are we really going? You are small but you walk fast." I complaint to the elf.

"You're just really slow." The elf short answer. I just frowned and didn't answer.

"We're here." Finally! We walked a long way.

I was about to be amazed when the door opened on its own, but there was someone behind it that caused the door to open. My companion entered so I followed, I sat on the side seat as soon as I entered the door because my foot hurt.

"Why only her?" Asked the old man who opened the door. Wasn't I the only one who stumbled upon this last night?

"She was the only one we saw last night. It seems he hasn't accepted yet." The elf explained to the old man.

"Hija, sit here." The old man ordered me. I sat on the chair near his table while the elf was on his table.

"How did you end up here in our place?"

"Ah, what's the matter? There were men chasing me, then I just ran everywhere. I didn't know that I was in the middle of the forest."

"Then it looks like you're just lost." The old man said while stroking his beard.

"Are you human?" It is a question?

"Ah hehe, maybe I'm human. I don't have wings, long ears or strange eyes or looks." I responded shyly.

"Then why did you see the house?" He asked a serious question to me.

"Huh? It was natural for me to see that because it was the only house standing in the middle of the forest-“

"You shouldn't be able to see that if you're just a human, the normal human eye can't see that house." I gasped at what he said. The elf who was sitting at the table was quiet while watching us talk to the old man.

"Are you saying I'm not human?" They shook their heads.

"What's the last thing you remember before you passed out?" I looked at the elf and he nodded at me.

"A pair of glaring eyes, that was the last thing I saw before I passed out." The old man nodded and then looked at our fellow elf.

"Her shoulder is bloody but the dragon is not there." What?

"What dragon?" I am confused by these questions. The old man smiled and then looked directly at me.

"You are now in archagon valley the place of dragons." It took a few seconds for my brain to process what the old man said.

"Hahahahaha!!! What did you smoke? What a dragon we are in the 22nd century so how-“ I stopped laughing when I saw the seriousness on their faces didn't change.

"You're not kidding? Do you mean that last night it was a dragon???" I stood up from my seat and panicked. Could that be a dragon? But it wasn't that much that hit me last night.

"Come and we will explain everything to you." That was the last thing I heard before we left to the old man's room and walked again the way we had gone before.
