Chapter 19

"Where have you been?" A cold voice greeted me when the time I entered the mansion door.

"I just took Shasha for a walk outside." I answered directly. He stared at me for a few seconds before speaking again.

"Go to sleep. We will leave early tomorrow." He said in serious face.

"Alright. I'll go first–"

"Don't lock the door." He spoke weakly but clearly.

"Why?" I asked.

"I will sleep with you." He answer quickly before leaving me on the other side of the stairs.

I quickly went to my room and closed the door softly but I didn't lock it like Nexus instructed.

"What was that man thinking and he's going to sleep here?" None of my own questions.

Instead of thinking about his reason, I just took care of my things to bring for tomorrow's retreat that we will do.
