Chapter 7

"Where have you been?" I asked Nexus. Shasha just smiled at me then approached Devin who was talking to the other dragons.

"Just there..." I held his arms as he hugged me tighter around my waist.

"Where did you go?" I ask him again.

He tucked the strands of my hair that blocking my face behind my ear and then kissed me on the cheek before answering my question.

"That's the only place around where I can see you and smell you." He put his head on my shoulder.

"Why do you need to watch me from afar even you can be there by my side." I felt him smile.

"That’s fine, as long as I can smell your scent it’s fine with me.” He squeezed my waist, I looked around, others were looking at us as if what they were seeing was new to them, others were whispering and talking about us.

"Nexus.." I whispered.

"Don't mind them, they envy you because I chose you as my master." He said and placed a kiss on my shoulder, I clung tightly to his arm as I felt his fangs dig into my skin.

"Sorry, it's addictive."
