Chapter 9

I woke up because of the cold air entering the room. It was late at night and I didn't even realize that I slept for a long time. I saw a shadow enter from the window, even though I couldn't see it well I knew the shape of his body and his smell.

"Nexus.." he stopped going to the sofa and faced me.

"Where have you been? I've been waiting for you for a while, I couldn't even see you yesterday..." I tried to smile even though the result was like a grimace.

"I'm going to sleep." He answered. He lay down on the sofa that he just made, he always sleeps next to me on the bed but now he prefers to sleep on the sofa.

I sat up, took my pillow and hugged it.

"She's back, isn't she?" He didn't move or make a little flinch at all so I spoke again.

"That's true... I actually saw you earlier. The expression on your face is different! You're happy, you know that? I thought you'd going tell me? It's not like this is how I feel."
