Prologue

I tried to run away from him. I thought I did. For the first time, I actually thought I did. I was very wrong.

I changed my hair, my total appearance, my entire life to get away from him. He still found me. He still punished me. There was nothing left good in my life. He now made sure of it. The closest people to me were hurt in the process. My family chose to believe him. They chose to like him and forget that I was their daughter.

I no longer had a sweet life like I did before I met him. Even The last three years were fine compared to now.

I regret everything. Every bit of my life.

Except for the man, I met after him.

He saved me.

He really did.

As much as I was able to be saved he did.

And I'm thankful for him.

I will never be able to thank him enough for what he did.

He stood up to him.

He showed me his true colours that were brighter than his exterior.

He loved me.

And for the first time in my life, I loved someone back.
