A few days later

I lifted my weights in my gym. The pain settled in but faded after I set them down. I grabbed my water bottle, taking two big gulps and swallowing it all. I set the bottle down and got down on the floor to do push-ups. Believe it or not, my favourite part of exercising.

I looked in the mirror in front of me as I did them, catching a beautiful girl further behind me. Aella wore a black, satin robe, hiding her perfect body, and leaned against the doorframe. Her eyes were set on my naked back. I smiled and stood up, walking towards her.
