Are you going to sleep with him?

Chapter 5

Celine Coleman

The world seemed to be frozen for a moment when our lips made contact. Although I am not a werewolf, but trust me, I felt a strange spark and my abdomen twitched. What the heck!

For the next few seconds, we remained like that, my brain was shut dead, and I couldn't think for a moment.

"Wh... what are you doing?" I stuttered as I managed to pull away from him, sitting on the ground and blinking my eyes at him rapidly. My heart pounded hard against my chest that I could literally hear the sound of it, my throat dried and my breath hitched. I tried to understand what just happened, but there was only one meaning to it, he fucking kissed me for the second time. At this point, I was starting to question my inner self, thinking if he was really sick or if he was just pretending.

"Don't be ridiculous. Why would anyone do that?" My subconscious mind scolded me and I quickly dismissed the thought. The look on his face didn't express shock, but was just blank as if what he did is not wrong.

"Ex... excuse me," I stuttered, as I managed to stand up to my feet, dashing out of his room afterward. I soon arrived at my doorstep, and stormed inside, slamming the door behind me and crashing against it.

"Wh... what the heck was that?" I breathed out, touching my chest which was still moving from my heart that was pounding hard against it.

"Ugh! This is crazy," I groaned, dragging myself to the bed and sinking into it. Isn't it enough that he fucking stole my first kiss, and now he did it again? What was he thinking?

"Don't think about it, Celine. He has no idea what he was doing," I said to myself, trying to push the thoughts away, but the image was still so boldly displayed in my head that I ended up scoffing frustratingly again.

My phone beeped, and I checked to see that it was a text from Jerry. I left my phone inside the room and had no idea he called me earlier.

'Call me when you see this text' I got worried when I saw the text, so I quickly dialed the number and waited impatiently for him to answer the phone, but strangely, he didn't answer.

"What is wrong with him? Why is he not answering his phone?" I mumbled, dialing the number again, but still, no one picked up. I was about to text him when his message popped on the screen first.

'I am in the hall, getting ready for my entrance exam. Don't be worried, I wanted to inform you before I go into the hall. That's why I called you earlier. I'll call you after the exam. That may be later in the day, anyway' I breathed out in relief after reading through the message, tossing my phone on the bed afterward.

Since there was nothing much to do, I just took my time to tour the house and get to know more about it, and soon, I ended up in the garden. My heart skipped when I saw Bryant staring into space.

"Huh? How did he get there?" I was stunned, so I mumbled.

"Are you going to drool at me?" His voice sounded cold and domineering. He didn't sound like that dumb Bryant I've been seeing, so for a second, I asked myself if he was not the one. Well, my curiosity was satisfied the moment he turned the wheelchair around and faced me.

"Did you come to watch the stars with me?" He asked, and smiled at me creepily. Star? At this time of the day? I mean, it's afternoon for fuck's sake, so where did he see stars?

"You are the crazy one, Celine. Have you forgotten he is brain ill?" I reminded myself and smiled at him.

"This is afternoon, so there is no star yet. If you want to watch the star, you can do that in the night. How did you get here, anyway?" I asked him curiously, looking around to see if there was any possible way he could've made it here.

"Will you take me to watch the stars tonight?" He asked me instead, ignoring my question, and I slowly nodded my head. He pursed his lips, and my heart skipped at the sight of that. I was trying hard to get that memory off my head, but that reminded me of the kiss, and I had no idea whether I should be grossed about it, or be excited.

"Ugh! What's there to be excited about?" I scoffed silently.

"Will you?" He further asked, but I quickly shook my head.

"No. I'll be busy tonight. I have plans," I replied to him, and he raised his eyebrows.

"Are you going to be sleeping with my fa... brother?" He asked me, and I scoffed.

"He told me why you are here. I have a retentive memory. I heard that a man and woman would have to sleep together to make a baby. Is that true? Are you going to sleep with him tonight?" He looked overly curious as he leaned forward, and just the thought of it made me want to throw up. Having sex with that man was something I haven't imagined myself doing, that's why I've been preparing myself mentally for it, but hearing this from him was so gross.

"You should watch the stars from your balcony. It's dangerous coming down here, and the view is better there than in this place," I ignored his question, turning to leave the garden, but I stopped when something crossed my mind.

"And one more thing..." I turned and faced him.

"What you did earlier... Don't do it again. I will be mad at you if you ever do it," And with that, I left the garden, leaving him to sort himself out.

"My life is a mess," I breathed out, sinking into the bed when I got to my room...
