Alone in his room, dead to the world, Kaynon slept peacefully in his oversized four post bed fit for a king. His subconscious registered a small noise coming from the back side of his home though his brain was too groggy to wake up fully and understand what was happening. His nose twitched and tingled, tracking the stench of a vampire feeding. He was cloaked in silence and stealth, slowly padding through the soft grass and freshly fallen leaves. The dense forest was the perfect waiting place for an ambush as his predatory eyes found his prey. The thick greenery with its silvery filter of the bright white light from the full moon helped to camouflage his light sandy colored coat. His yellow gold eyes trained on the vampire as he curled his lips to expose his pearly white canines. The look of surprise on her face when the waitress explained that their ice cream had been paid for sent sparks of joy through his heart. Kaynon's heart was racing, faster than it had ever beat out of his chest. Her scent lingered in his nostrils, sweet like honey. The heat from where her fingers had been wrapped in his fur slowly dissipated. Cilyna. The most beautiful name he had ever heard. He wanted so much more in that brief moment. Though he had to settle with their silent exchange for now.Until we meet again. He thought as she rounded the corner and disappeared from sight, but not before she turned to look for him. He finally felt hopeful, with that single backwards glance from her.Sleep came quickly for him, with images of his female fresh in mind. Her dark hair cascading around her face in thick waves, making her eyes a brighter green as they were locked onto his teasingly with a smile to make actors sigh with envy. Her skin a rich tan other women pay top dollar to imitate. She was glowing under the moon's soft light as it mimicked a personal spot light, while she danced in the field they were in just for him.
