An Unexpected Summer Chapter Two - My first crush!
Kyson I had just sat down with a scotch on the porch, enjoying the cool, fresh air. It is so peaceful here. My cell vibrates on the table next to me. I glance over and see a text with a number that isn’t stored in my contact, but the second I open it, I realise who it is. Arya! I read the text and smile because I am glad she has finally worked out who I am. I quickly save her number before texting back.I thought my hint would have jogged your memory ;) xI am not surprised she doesn’t remember me, though. I am a completely different person now. Arya It took me a moment to remember where I was when I woke. I open my eyes to move at my average speed but soon feel pain in my knee and ribs, a sharp reminder of what happened yesterday.“Arya, are you okay?” the voice made me jump until I remembered it was Kyson next to me, “I forgot I hurt myself,” I whined.“You need to be careful, sweetness. Where were you trying to go?” he asks, “The bathroom. I just need to take my time.” I slowly get up from the bed, trying to ignore the throbbing in my knee. I am sure it will ease the more I move around today, and I can make it to the bathroom myself.

Arya Kyson and I had found the perfect spot. The view is beautiful, and the atmosphere peaceful. It is what we need today. I am trying to forget about my ex and his calls. Kyson I wake, and it is still dark outside. I reach over to hug Arya, but she isn’t there. I glance at the digital clock next to the bed, and it reads four o’clock. Where is she at this time? I switch the bedside light on so I can see where I am going and head to search for her.I check the bathroom, but she isn’t there. I work my way through the house, finally finding her in the living area. Arya is sitting on the floor, her back to the sofa. She has a blanket wrapped around her, typing away.“Baby girl, what are you doing up at this time?” I ask. She lifts her hand, signalling one minute. I get the hint, not saying another word, sitting down next to her.“And another chapter is done,” she says excited, closing her laptop and turning her attention to me, “Sorry.
