Chapter Three

Amanda looked at Mirabel with so much love and she said " Mimi, I know you love me and you want the best for me but please, do not tell my father. I have to fight this battle. I have to let my mother know that I am not a weakling. I have to let her know that I will never marry Louis. I will tell her to allow her favorite daughter marry Louis if she really wants Louis to be her in-law."  Mirabel became so happy as a result of what Amanda said and she hugged her and said " I have always known you to be a strong young lady and I am always with you darling. You are a very strong young lady and I love your spirit. Mirabel continued "Amanda, I think something is wrong. Have you really thought about why your mother wants you to marry Louis a bad guy? He is not only a bad guy but arrogant and ugly, though he is rich but I heard that his master is so handsome and the most wealthy man in the country. Louis is the opposite of his master. Darling, you deserve the best. If truly your mother loves you, why should it be Louis of all people? Are you sure your mother has no business with him and she wants to use you as a bait? Dear, I think I have to do something before it becomes late." Amanda frowned and she asked, "Mimi, what do you want to do? Mirabel replied " You will know at the right time." Amanda informed Mirabel that it is already late and she left.

When Amanda got home, Mandy was mad at her. She said "Amanda, where have you been?? I tried calling you but I was unable to reach you. Well,  Louis called and I gave him the good news that you have agreed to marry him. He said he will like you to come over to his house so that the two of you will plan for your wedding. You must visit him tomorrow and  you can even spend your night there so that he can have a taste of you. You have to give him whatever he wants even if it is sex. You are no longer a baby and I don't even think you are a virgin. You know very soon he will become your husband."

Amanda looked at her with anger and she said " I have respected you enough. What kind of a mother are you? You really want to push your daughter into the arms of a bad guy. Do you really deserve to be called a mother? I detest you for your utterances against me. You can not even hide your hatred for me. I have been keeping quiet in this house does not mean I am a weakling. Well, since you really love Louis so much and wants him to be your son in-law, why don't you let your adorable and favorite daughter Tricia marry him?You know Tricia is as bad as Louis and they deserve each other. I am a decent young lady and I deserve the best. I earlier made a mistake by saying that I will marry Louis but listen to me mother,  I will never marry that ugly man . I do not know the business you have with him and it is none of my business. Disturb me again and I will let father know everything you have been doing to me."
