Chapter Five

" Should I apologise to her. No, I will not. She will maltreat me more if I apologise. She earlier said that I was a weakling, apologising to her means that she was right. I have to be strong." Amanda decided against apologising to Mandy.

The next day, while in her office, she received a call from Louis. " Hello, damsel. I guess you know who is calling" Louis said from the other side. Amanda asked " who are you?" 

"Well, it seems you do not recognize the voice of your future husband. I am your husband to be and my name is Louis" Louis said. " Let me warn you, I am not your future wife. Secondly, in your entire life never you call me again. I will never marry you" Amanda shouted at him on the phone and dropped the call. She  was in deep thought "I have to let father know. I must tell father when he returns before things get out of hand". Amanda continued " it is lunch time already, I have to have my lunch at Kremy restaurant. I love the taste of their food." Amanda was about entering the restaurant when her phone started ringing. She was opening her bag to bring out her phone while walking at the same time when she bump into someone and her bag fell down.  Before she could pick it up the handsome young man had already done that and handed it over to her. " I am so sorry. I hope I didn't hurt you" Amanda apologized. " It is okay. I am fine. Next time you really have to concentrate while walking." the young man said. " I am sorry. I have stained your shirt with my makeup" Amanda apologized again.  " Well, the stain is not much but I will wash it when I get home" the young man said. He further said " I am Elvis"." He extended his hand. " I am Amanda Williams" Amanda answered taking his hand.  " Do have a wonderful day and be careful so that you don't bump into someone else, okay?" Elvis said. "Okay." Amanda replied. After having her lunch, Amanda went back to the office.

While in the office Amanda was thinking about the handsome man he met during her lunch time at Kremy restaurant. " He was so handsome but simply dressed. I can't even believe a man could be so handsome like that. He was not even angry when I bumped into him and stained his shirt. He is so humble."

After work, Amanda decided not to go to her house. " I have to spend the night at Mirabel's place." Amanda said.

Meanwhile, Louis called Mandy after Amanda dropped the call. " I thought you said your daughter has agreed to marry me. Now listen and listen very good, bitch. Make this marriage work or I will expose you and you know what it means when your husband knows the truth. Your bitch of a daughter insulted me. She said she will never marry me. I know you have...," he was still talking when his other phone started ringing and he checked and saw that it was his boss, then he said " we will continue the discussion later. I have to answer my boss now." 

" Boss" Louis answered.  I want every details about Amanda Williams. She works with AbZ company. Give me every information about her.." Elvis said. "Yes, boss" answered Louis.

Louis was so confused as to why his boss wants information about a lady because he knows that his boss is not into women, then he said,

" What does boss want from her? He is not into women. I really have to be careful. I love my life. What if boss is in love? He has never told us to give him information about any woman before. If after giving boss all the information I know and I found out that he is in love with her then I will change my game plan. I am sure it is the same Amanda Williams I know because she works with AbZ company. I don't have to keep him waiting but after that I will call Mandy back."
