Chapter Seven

After the close of work, Mandy decided to go to Mirabel's place. When she got there, Mirabel who just returned from work some minutes ago was surprised to see Mandy because she only visits whenever she didn't go to work which is always on weekends. She hugged Amanda and said " I hope all is well". Amanda answered "Yes, all is well. I just want to spend the night here. I am tired of the troubles at home and I had a hectic day, so I do not want more trouble that's why I want to stay with you. She smiled and added "I hope someone will not kick me out of her house." Mirabel looked at her friend and frowned at what she said and she replied "Amanda, how can you say that? You know that you are my best friend and a sister though not of the same mother. You know I will never ask you to leave. This is our house. I wish you will always stay with me. Kicking you out is like kicking myself out. Remember the day you told me that you wanted to buy a house and I told you to forget about the house. I tried convincing you to stay with me in this house because I wanted us to live together like sisters. This is our house, Amanda." Amanda thanked  her for taking her as her sister but she informed Mirabel that she will convince her dad when he returns that it is necessary for her to move out of the house.

Amanda also told Mirabel about Eric, how she bumped into him and how she has been thinking about him. She further informed Mirabel about the call she received from Louis. Mirabel told her not to worry that everything will be alright.

At the Williams residence, Tricia is seen sitting on the couch with her mother. "Mum, why is that stupid daughter of yours not yet back from work?. How can someone that claims to be decent not be at home by this time? I am sure that she is into the arms of one ugly old man. I hate her so much." Mandy told Tricia how she called Amanda more than twice but she refused to take her calls. Tricia said "Louis should hurry and marry her. I wonder why they are delaying. Let them marry so fast so that I will not be seeing her face in this house again. I am happy that she will marry that ugly arrogant bad guy. ."  Her mother replied " Louis told me that he is now interested in you. He said he doesn't want Amanda anymore but I can't allow that ugly thing marry you unless that is the only option left."  Tricia shouted " what!,. No ...no way, he can't be interested in me. He is a perfect match for Amanda and not me. I can't marry him. Mum, I heard that Louis has a master who is the opposite of Louis. Rumour has it that he is the richest in this country.i also heard that he is so handsome and still single. He doesn't have time for ladies. I also heard that lots of women have tried their best to have him all to no avail.. Mother, I think I am the right woman he has been waiting for. He is the type I deserve and not Louis. Amanda has to marry Louis. Mandy told Tricia that she will talk to Louis but if he rejects Amanda again then Tricia will have to marry him. . Tricia told her mother that she will never date Louis not to talk of getting married to him.
