Chapter 28
Dorothy Hagglin walked out of the Library, annoyed.
The Professor showed no signs of liking her and did not flirt back.
It was starting to work her last nerve.
The man was not anything special, she thought as she grew annoyed. He was older than she preferred and wasn’t as handsome as the other men she had dated. He had a good job but Dorothy knew she could score most anyone outside of the University.
His being a high-ranking Elf Family’s son is what had attracted her.
She wondered if she should reveal to him that she knew of his Mythical self. Maybe that would help her get closer to him. At the moment, he held her at arm’s length and did not let her in.
But then, she thought, what if the professor became aware that she only wanted him because of his prestigious family?
She had to play the part of an innocent woman in love that was then surprised to hear of his wealthy and sophisticated family.
