Drew dropped the last of his packed belongings onto the carpet of a cozy living room.
“There!”
Ethan sighed from where he’d taken a seat on the couch, “I can’t believe we’ve actually moved in. That took so long!”
Abel nodded, “We’ve taken hours… Where’s the professor anyway? The University should be closed by now.”
“Why don’t you call him?” Drew was kneeling by the suitcases, “We can’t just start moving into the rooms before he comes in.”
Abel had pulled out his phone and started picking out the Professor’s number, “Yeah.”
Ethan sighed, a hand raking through his silky blond hair, “This is such a turn.”
The young Drew nodded, “It sure is. Wow.”
He rubbed at his nose with his finger, “Who would have thought any of these things would happen?”

Daryl stared at the girl in front of her.She looked beautiful. Soft pink hair reached down to her waist and she had gorgeous eyes. Even in a baggy grey sweatshirt, the girl looked cute thanks to her petite build and the gentle slope of her hip.Anyone else would have passed her off as a trendy young woman except of course, for the large butterfly-like wings that extended from her back.Daryl swallowed, feeling her throat go dry before turning to her friend, “This is your cousin?”Daryl reached over to set a large stack of books on to her bedside table.
