I peel my eyes open to be faced with a dark room that is not mine. Thank the goddess it’s dark because my head is pounding. I let my eyes adjust to the dark room. I sit up groggily with my hair all over the place. I need to pee. I walk to the bathroom. I sit I think about what happened. My mates a bit of a dick. He's cocky and arrogant and I don't like him. I thought after the first night he would be sweet and caring but no! I flip my head back so all my hair flies out of my face. I look in the mirror at my reflection while a wash my hands. I look like shit. The bags under my eyes look deathly black. My skin seems to ooze a grey glow. My hair hangs lifelessly and the grease sticks it to my scalp. I look like a Tim Burton character. I leave the bathroom. I see my cigarettes and lighter on the desk and snatch them. It's just as grey and dreary outside as I am so I can't open the window because I'll wake the prince up. It's been a week since Reece marked me. We haven't really spoken since. Well, I haven't spoken to him. He tried to talk to me the first few days but gave up when he realised I wasn't going to give him the conversation he wanted. I'm not the type of person who can be pushed, I'll talk when I'm ready. Things have changed in a week, they've changed a lot. I've moved into the castle with the prince which is an hours drive for uni and work. Reece and I share his room in the gorgeous palace (he sleeps on the couch because I refuse to stay in the same bed as him and he refuses to sleep in a separate room.) and he set up me up in The Luna Study which is ajoins to his.
