39) Wolves and Vampires

It’s been three days since Kim’s been into work. Three days and no word. Not an email, call or text and I’m starting to worry. It’s not like her. She lets me know if she’s going to be two minutes late because they got caught in traffic but she doesn’t show up for three days and says nothing? That’s not like her. 

“ROY!” Kira shouts. She sounds panicked. “ROY!” 

I stand from my chair and rush out my office. She’s running towards me. 

“You have to come, quickly.” She grabs my arms and then turns and drags me towards the elevator. 

“What is going on?” I’m now running with her to the elevator. She presses the parking button and the elevator doors close. 

“It’s Matteo. Someone dropped him in my parking space. He does not look good , Roy.” She rushes out of the elevator. “I’m so luck
