Where Am I?

“Let go of me mum, stop trying to pity me. I know you also have a lot to say to me so go ahead and say it!” She yelled in tears as she pulled away from her mother.

“I have nothing to say it you, you are welcome back home dear. I am your mother and I will always support you no matter the decision you make as long as you think it's best for you.”

“That is still a pity.”

“Of course it is pity, what else do you want?” She asked and Audrey shook her head.

“Am out of here.” She said and wiped her tears before walking out of the house.

“Audrey.” Her mother yelled but she ignored her.

“She left already?” Her father asked showing up in the living room and his wife glared at him.

“Oh, don't give me that look, did she go with her bags?”

“Of course, she didn't go with her bag, she has nowhere to go. You were really harsh on her honey.”

“I know and she deserves it. She should have listened to me.”

“Where the hell is she heading to?” Her mother asked worriedly and pulled out her phone to call her but her husband took it from her.

“Just let her be. I can bet she is on her way to a bar right now thinking alcohol will solve her problem, of course, it would but just for some hours it wears off and she remembers again.” He laughed and his wife rolled her eyes at him.

“You should prepare dinner for her, it's almost twilight and she will come home hungry.”

“Yeah, whatever.” Her mother replied and took her bags upstairs.

Audrey wandered the streets of New York City aimlessly as she tried to clear her mind, she knew it was getting late and she really needed to get her problems off her mind.

She suddenly stopped in front of a stripper’s club and was about to walk in but the guard stopped her.

“And you are?” He asked.

“I want to go in.” She replied and he laughed.

“Dressed in that? Come on beautiful, you can do better. You look like a housewife.”

“That is because I am.” She muttered before taking off her jacket, she was putting on a long gown with a jacket over it.

“Better?” She asked and he shook his head.

“Come on, you can do better.” He said and she sighed, she ripped her gown to her knee and gave him a questioning look.

“That is what am talking about.” He laughed and moved away for her to go in, she did and coughed immediately she walked in because of the weird scent that hit her nostrils.

She walked to the counter and smiled at the bar attendant.

“What would you like to have?” He asked and she pointed at a cocktail, he smiled at her and poured it for her.

“Thank you.” She muttered as she gulped it at once, she suddenly felt dizzy immediately and her hand shook as she held the glass, it fell from her hand and shattered.

She felt her head spin and she fell to the floor, she saw strange faces and felt someone lifting her before she finally passed out.

TWENTY-FOUR HOURS LATER

Audrey heard distant voices as her eyes felt heavy to open, she moaned in pain as she also felt a sharp pain in her head. She could see lights faintly and the distant voices were starting to sound closer to her.

She forcefully opened her eyes and hissed in pain, she looked around where she was and noticed she is in an unfamiliar place, her eyes fell on two men dressed in tuxedos but she couldn't see their faces because they weren't looking in her direction.

She noticed she was on a bed and tried to seat up but realized she couldn't move her body because she was tied to the bed.

“What the hell?” She muttered and the men suddenly turned to her.

“Oh, she is awake.” One of them said with a smile while the other kept staring at her.

“Give us some minutes please.” The mean one said while the other walked out.

“Hmm, please who are you? And why am I tied to a bed?” She asked as the guy walked closer to her.

“My name is Damien and you have been kidnapped by me.” He replied and she became more confused about the situation.

“Kidnapped? Why? Did I do something wrong? Is this some kind of a mistake?”

“No, you didn't do something wrong and this isn't a mistake. I know who my target is and I never miss my shot. Your name is Audrey, you are twenty-two years old with no achievements and you live in New York City.”

“What is going on?” She asked as her heart started to race.

“It's pretty simple and easy for you to understand. I want you so I kidnapped you.”

“What? How? I don't even know you, what the hell is this? Let me go.”

“Oh, you don't need to know me to make me want you. Like I have been saying, this is a kidnap and I did it because I want you.”

“What? What the fuck? Are you crazy? How the hell did I even end up here? The last thing I remember was... “ She trailed off as she realized she couldn't remember what happened twenty-four hours ago.

“You were saying something.” He said and she looked at him.

“Is my husband here too? You kidnapped him too right? The last thing I remember was both of us going to bed together.” She said and he shrugged.

“Your husband isn't here with you. It was you I wanted so I kidnapped you.”

“No, no, no, you can't do this to me. You have to let me go.” She cried and he sighed.

“Of course, I will let you go.”

“Really? Oh my God, thank you so much.”

“But that will be after ninety days.”

“What?” She screamed.

“Yes, ninety days.”

“What do you mean after ninety days? Are you crazy? You kidnapped me for no reason and you won't let me go till after ninety days?”

“You should be lucky I didn't say I will kill you.”

“Let me go, this is a great offense and I will report you to the cops, untie me and let me go.”

“Okay.” He shrugged and moved closer to the bed, he untied her and she rushed off the bed, she ran out of the room and froze when she saw a lot of men dressed in black tuxedos.

“What are you... “

“Let her go.” Damien cut off a guard as she walked out of the room.

“You all should stay away from me!” She yelled as she started to run down the hallway, she opened a door and suddenly froze when she got outside.

She was on a fucking ship, in the middle of the ocean! How the hell did she get here?
