Chapter 21
Adrian’s POV“How dare you show your face to me! How dare you enter my life after what you did!”I saw her eyes burned not with passion but with rage. I held my breath, as my chest tightened with indescribable pain. It hurt so bad that she was looking at me this way. And for the nth time, I have nothing else to blame but myself. “I came here to say sorry for what I did,” I said swallowing my ego. I looked her straight in the eyes and uttered the words I’d been practicing saying for the longest time. “Please come back to my life.. I’m a wreck without you…”I tried my best not to be fucking emotional as I uttered those words. It took me two long years to admit my feelings to Aria, and finally, I let it all out. It was a tough pill to swallow but worth all the pride in me. Every word, every phrase, I meant it from the bottom of my heart. When I drove her away, I slowly became a robot.I was functioning but not breathing. I existed but felt empty.I was living but feeling dead inside.

Chapter 22
Peter’s POVI shook my head contemplating the event that led me here in the forest hunting for something that I wasn’t even aware of. I should have been in Royal Cave listening and cheering for my foster daughter Aria while she was performing on probably the most important night of her singing career. And yet, here I was, sniffing in the air like a Bloodhound dog inside the forest. I agree that over the last few months, I became complacent. I haven’t been doing a lot of patrolling because I was so busy with my life with her. It had been a while since I became invested in building a relationship with another wolf so it really altered my everyday routine. Nixon and Sex Deity were both important figures in my life but it was still different when you live with someone else. When I lost my mate Leila years ago, I was certain that I would die alone. But the night I found Aria shivering under a thunderstorm, everything changed. She put another meaning to my routine life. And I wouldn’t trad

Chapter 23
After the bar’s anniversary event, the rest of the Royal Cave employees decided to continue partying at a local club. This was not part of the original plan but since Alpha Axel and Luna Sheila were both needed at home to attend to little Krissy, we have no choice but continue celebrating elsewhere. The rest of the crew members were having the time of their lives while I was left alone at the bar counter, drinking a cold glass of Gold Rush in my hands. If only Aria was here…Ah, that girl! Just thinking about her made my mouth plaster an automatic smile. I mean, she was not even my mate. However, my spirit wolf also adored her. I could still remember the first time I saw her. I was really having a hard day that night. But when my eyes landed on her walking in that lovely green, velvet dress, my day suddenly brightened. Aria’s smile had a certain effect on me. Something that even I couldn’t explain. But I did not see that on her tonight. Yes, she was grinning from ear to ear but I c

Nixon’s POVI could see Peter’s motionless face. His eyes, closed. His mouth was slightly open with a bit of blood gushing out of it. My heart was racing and I could feel it. My thoughts were clouded and I really didn't know how to react to seeing him lifeless on my lap. I want him to gain consciousness. I did try to shake his body trying to wake him up but it was no use. I was numb from the pain. How could a person as strong as he died like this? He was so lively when I saw him the other day and now, he was gone. My tears were beyond controllable. Losing him like this was adding agony to my already shattered heart. I slowly lifted him up, and gently lay his body on the ground. I wiped my tears with one arm and took a deep breath trying to control my breathing. It was the worst feeling to say goodbye to him this way but I still have an important task to do. I promised him that Aria will live and that was exactly what I was intending to do. I rushed to Aria and gently put her on m

Nixon’s POV“Doctor! We need you inside, quick!”Once again, the beating of my heart escalated to the point that it almost got out of my chest. The cold, spiderlike fingers raced up and down my spine. My head was flooded with a thousand questions. “What’s wrong? Is Aria okay?” Alpha Axel stood out from the chair outside the tent. We both decided to stay with Aria until she makes it through the night. Hopefully. “The patient stopped breathing!” the nurse exclaimed. The doctor dashed inside the tent. Blood was drained from our alpha’s face as he remained rooted in his spot. I followed the doctor inside. When I drew the curtain to the side, I saw Aria lying motionless on top of her bed while one of the nurses was trying to perform CPR on her. My heart continued to hammer in my chest. My throat made some quiet sounds of helplessness. I watched in horror as the pack’s medical team continued to revive her. Seeing her like this made my knees weak. “Don’t leave me, Aria,” I whispered he

Adrian’s POVI woke up with the faint sound of laughing. Though my eyes were still shut, I could still picture the man responsible for that pig-sounded laughter. I couldn't mistake that unique chortle for any other sound and I was right. It was that of Oscar, my confidant and one of the best trackers here in Moon Valley. Oscar was amusing himself with some funny videos he was watching on his phone. Slowly, I lifted my eyelids. The light coming from the white-painted ceiling burned my eyes a little. I narrowed my eyes and raised my left arm to cover half of my face. It was at this moment that Oscar noticed that I was already awake. He quickly rushed to my bedside. His face, although full of worry, had a bright light of gratefulness and hope.I tried posing a smile to ease his concern. When I did, I felt a sharp pain at the corners of my mouth. I gave a grimace of agony. I twitched, as I tried to move my body. My receptors instantly reacted to my plan, making my face contort even mor

Chapter 27
Aria's POV I woke up to the pungent smell of what seemed to be a herbal medicine invading my nostrils. The room was silent apart from my heavy breathing and the beep-beep sound you often hear in hospitals that indicates you were still alive. I slowly lifted my eyelids, squinting in an attempt to sharpen the blurry image surrounding me. I glanced around and noticed that I was inside what appeared to be a tent. I knew this type of material for Pops and I was always using this during our camping trips to the woods. They were made of heavy vinyl-coated polyester fabrics that were securely insulated to maintain coolness during high temperatures. It seemed to be very effective for the air inside giving me a very comfortable feeling that I highly appreciate. I touched my head trying to remember what exactly had happened. Without any warning, the images from that night hit me with a bang. It started to occupy my thoughts. The last time I recalled was being badly beaten by a bunch of wolves

Chapter 28
Adrian’s POV I was used to taking full dominance in bed. But now, it was different. I found myself in the same pathetic room. The bed looked untidy, empty bottles of scotch were scattered on the floor and unclean clothes were hanging everywhere. Ever since I announced to the pack that Aria Williams was dead, I refused to talk to anyone. I didn’t even allow the maids to clean my room. The ambiance didn’t seem to bother the woman kneeling in my front. I was sitting on the edge of the bed while staring blankly at the white ceiling while she was caressing the bulk of my pants. Thoughts were flooding my mind and I didn’t even know what are. The woman seemed to notice that I was spacing out so, she hummed a tease. “Just be patient, baby. After this night, I’ll make sure you’ll come back to your old self.” Cassie unfastened the zipper on my pants. She took out my length and put it inside her mouth without hesitation. This wasn’t the first time that Cassie had pleasured me using her mo

Vladimir’ POV“It was confirmed by your son Adrian, My Lord. Aria Williams was no more.”My jaw tightened when the news hit my ears. I clenched the glass of scotch tightly before sipping its content in one gulp. The intoxicating liquid burned my throat a little but I didn’t flinch. Because more than the heat that this alcohol was giving me, it was my rage that kept me burning inside. “Leave.” My beta and trusted confidant, Max, bowed his head before stepping out of the room. As soon as his build disappeared from my sight, I threw the glass on the wall. The desire for bloodshed and carnage was shouting inside my head. I gave in. I let out a loud growl allowing myself to be engulfed by my inner wolf Damek. And by doing so, I unleashed the famous “Death Eater” of Moon Valley. I jumped out to the window of my room and let myself turn into the beast I am allowing myself to become. Before I hit the ground, my appearance had completed its transformation. My spine had extended to form my t

Vladimir’s POV“We are here, my Lord.”Upon hearing the short announcement, I opened my eyes. I was welcomed by a familiar sight. With a bunch of trees surrounding the place and a couple of birds chirping in the background, I knew we had reached our destination. After a few years away from this pack, I finally reached the pride of the eastern continent. My home, Moon Valley.Unlike the other packs I had been to, Moon Valley territory was still untouched by industrialization. Its borders were rich with mineral deposits and other natural resources. This was the reason why a lot of packs were eyeing my pack for the longest time. Too bad they were too weak to fight me. Through the years, I managed to protect Moon Valley from intruders until eventually, no one ever attempted to invade it ever again. It did not take long before I was out of the car. I was wearing a casual suit and a pair of black sunglasses. My entourage began stepping down on their vehicles and started to observe the su
