Chapter 31(Amethyst)Rowen had put Claude in charge of us, and he was panicking. I could tell. Although he looked calm and collected on the outside, I knew him and I knew him well. I could tell that Rowen knew we had more than just a fling. I thought I was going to be with him for as long as I was alive, at least, but it didn’t seem to happen that way. Chapter 32(Rowen)Leaving Ambrosia with Claude had an uneasy feeling floating in my stomach, but I knew we could trust him. It was everyone else I didn’t trust. But this was the only opportunity we may have to get answers from this guy, and we couldn’t let it pass us up. The issue was getting him somewhere where we could have him alone without any of the other Vampires noticing. That was going to be the trick here. Chapter 33I got out of the shower and headed into my closet to grab some basketball shorts for bed. Found my favorite rose gold pair and slipped them on, towel drying my hair and letting it fly wild. I threw the towel on the floor, but then decided to make less work for Ambrosia and picked it up, hanging it on the shower enclosure to dry. My thoughts went back to tonight. Besides all the secret missions, we actually had a lot of fun. I thought about all the poses we did on the red carpet, and wondered what the magazine covers would look like this year. Chapter 34Damn… I must have been tired because when my eyes finally fluttered open, I realized Ambrosia wasn’t in bed with me still. I sat up and stretched, then climbed out of bed, heading to my closet to find something to wear. I could smell breakfast downstairs and realized I was definitely hungry. Chapter 38Once I was out of the shower and dressed for bed I called for Ambrosia. She came wandering into my room and climbed into bed with me.
