Chapter 29 – Date Night (1)
ZARA
I am standing in front of the big mirror in the bathroom. I am wearing a short, cream-colored bodycon dress with a square neck and the back and sleeves are in lace, and a pair of matching flats. Mom is helping me to put my hair in a bun, with a few strays of hair framing my face, and putting a light natural makeup on that makes my blue contacts pop.
Looking in the mirror, I can not see any trace of the girl I was before I was saved. True to his word, Aiden has been incredibly patient with me. Even though I can feel through our bond how much he wants me, all of me, but he has not once pressured me. After we marked each other that night, I found it a little hard not to touch him; I know he feels the same.
