His Betrayal.

Mia drove like a drunkard on the street, her car was at the highest speed and she was not thinking of stopping her rough driving anytime soon. She was determined to get rid of the pain even if it meant dying at that moment, she drove aimlessly looking for an accident till she appeared at the mansion where she lived.

Tears poured out of her eyes after her car came to a hurt, "Ah! I hate you!" Mia released a hate-wrenching scream, she was pitiful and sorrowful. Mia climbed out of the car picked up her things with her torn blocked vision and made her way into the large mansion. The butter and a few maids stepped back and stayed hidden when she walked in.

They did not dare approach her, the mistress of the house was someone who always put on a strong font. She did not like appearing weak before others, the butler signaled to the maids to get back to whatever they were doing to give Mia some space.

Mia made her way up the stairs and then towards her room, her room was located on the left side of the huge mansion. Although the mansion was huge, another soul apart from Mia could not be found in it. Mia silently made her way towards her room but came to a half when she saw the brown-colored door.

Mia hesitated for a while before pushing the door open, she stepped into the room she hadn't taken a single step into in years. "Mom, dad. I miss you a lot, I do not want to live without you. Your daughter misses you a lot." Mia muttered silently sliding to the ground, she fell and sat listlessly on the ground.

"Mom, I found out. I found out that Adriano is a liar, Adriano doesn't love me. He is only after my money, mom he is a cheap dirty liar. He doesn't love me." Mia wailed continuously crying on the ground, she had just found out the truth about the man she loved so much.

Adriano was the right-hand man of her father, her father took care of him like family and had even expressed his wish for Mia to get married to him before his death. Mia had found out at a party with her friends that Adriano was getting married to her best friend, her closest friend. Bella Luca, the daughter of the major of Rome, Mia did not want to believe it but she saw it with her own two eyes.

While he was busy proclaiming his lies as love to her, he was getting engaged to her best friend. Mia cried continuously, she stood up on her feet and made her way toward her parent's bed. "Mom, you encouraged me to love him. You trusted him, he is a liar a cheap liar mom!!!!" 

"I hate him! I hate him! I hate a liar like him." Mia yelled hitting her hands and feet on the bed, it had been 6 months since her parents passed away in that tragic accident. The property was willed over to her since she was 18 already, she trusted Adriano and willed the property over to him.

Outside the mansion, a young-looking man rushed into the house with fast steps. His hair was tousled and his grey eyes were dark, he made his way towards the stairs in a hurry. What has he done? What did he do? He hurt her!

Adriano hurriedly rushed towards the stairs, he stepped on his shoes and fell on the ground but he stood up and continued walking ignoring the pain. "Where is the young mistress?" He asked the butler that was standing by the side of the step.

"The young mistress went upstairs, she is in her parent's room." The butler muttered he was choking back the tears in his eyes. Adriano nodded his head and rushed upstairs, he rushed towards the room. 

As he got closer to the room, he saw Mia walking out of the room with swollen eyes. His expression dimmed and a frown appeared deep on his face, the regret he was feeling intensified a hundredfold. "Mia talk to me okay? Come let's go to your room and talk" Adriano said holding her hand and trying to pull her toward her room.

"Let go of my hand, you liar. Do not lay a finger on me, you lied to me. You betrayed me, what should we speak about? What!!!! Bastard!" Mia yelled in his face, aggressively pulling her hand away from his.

"Listen to what I have to say, Mia, I did not lie to you. It's all a misunderstanding okay, you are still young, you won't understand. Just listen to me." Adriano whispered stepping closer to her, his eyes holding specks of tears in them.

"You always tell me I am young, is that the reason you deceived me? Is that the reason you treated me like a fool? Because I am young? You are a cheapskate, liar, and fool!!! Do not come near me." Mia screamed taking steps away from him, she moved backward wanting to run away from him.

"Mia!!" Adriano yelled back at her grabbing onto her arms, "listen to me and stop being childish." Adriano said. Mia stood shocked after he yelled at her, tears were busy falling out of her eyes.

"You have a misunderstanding okay, I am not lying to you. I love you, I love you so much it's just the…." Before Adriano could finish his words, Mia threw a tight slap on his face. His head swiped to the side and his eyes widened in surprise.

"You are just a natural-born liar, I hate you do not speak my name out of your mouth. Get out of here!!!" Mia yelled at him, she saw no reason to give him the privilege of explaining.

Fury blazed in Adriano's eyes, he had been trying to hold himself back but it all turned futile at that moment. He stretched his hand forward and pushed Mia to the wall, trapping her between the wall and himself.

"And so what if you hate me? What if I betrayed you? You are mine Mia only mine, you are mine! I betrayed you, yes! Still, you won't be able to escape from me!!"

"You are Mine, From Now till Eternity. You are Mine Mia." Adriano yelled, his eyes blazed with fury as he claimed his right to her. 

"You may run from here till the end of the world but your fate lies in my hand, I will decide your destiny!"

Mia gasped and woke up from her dreams, the same nightmare had been hunting her over and over again. She sighed and wiped off the tears from her eyes.
