CHAPTER ELEVEN

Mace, finally managing to confine Nysaa to her car, was left with no choice but to reluctantly get into the driver's seat of his own vehicle. Drunk Nysaa was an unbearable companion, her slurred words and provocative behavior wearing down even his formidable patience.

His expression, as usual, remained cold, his frustration barely contained. His luxury car, which had broken down and remained immobile on the deserted street, was an additional source of annoyance. The mechanic was taking his time, leaving Mace fuming.

As he settled into his car, the atmosphere remained icy. The fact that Mace's car had broken down had caused the situation to spiral out of control. He was well aware of the precarious position they were in, stuck in the confined space of his car.

Nysaa, despite her drunken stupor, wasted no time in taunting Mace for pushing her into his vehicle. Her slurry tone managed to convey a sense of loathing and anger, even as her inhibitions crumbled under the influence of alcohol
